Professor Stephen Osborne from CenSE provided the keynote for the workshop, where he explored the nature of public service ecosystems and presented a framework both research about, and working within, such ecosystems.
This was followed by presentations by Professors Greta Nasi (Bocconi University) on citizen preferences and local government performance, Maria Cucciniello (formerly of CenSE but now at Bocconi University) on robust public services within public service ecosystems, and Carmine Bianchi (Palermo University) on ‘intelligent performance management’ within such ecosystems.
A full report of the workshop was published in Public Money & Management.
